Exclusive Trailer for The Bulldogs Finds Poser Directors Capturing a Community Rebuilding

Following their narrative feature Poser, directors Noah Dixon and Ori Segev returned to Ohio with The Bulldogs, a documentary that premiered at Slamdance Film Festival earlier this year and will now be arriving this month from Antenna Releasing. Ahead of a national roadshow starting on November 19, we’re pleased to exclusively debut the first trailer.

Here’s the synopsis for the film: “Following a catastrophic train derailment, The Bulldogs follows the residents of a small rural community in East Palestine, Ohio, as they navigate an uncertain path to recovery. On February 3, 2023, a train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, released over a million pounds of vinyl chloride, forcing mass evacuations._ The Bulldogs_ begins after the media leaves, following residents as they rebuild, revealing a community’s resilience in the face of disaster and neglect.”

The Bulldogs will also have a physical media release via the new outfit Video Store Age, which releases highly curated, hard-to-access titles on their patent-pending encrypted USB drives. “They aim for humanistic, hand-to-hand distribution that disrupts algorithms in favor of curation, context, and community,” notes their site.
