Watch: Romain Gavras' Excellent Music Video for Gener8ion's 'Storm'
by Alex Billington **May 1, 2026
_ "Just go ahead and run, run, run, run... If you won't die for some, if you don't stand for none."_ This is the must watch music video of spring 2026. An impressively choreographed, gritty school video for the French musician known as Gener8ion's** track called "Storm." The song features young Swedish rapper "Yung Lean" who also appears in the music video as the main character. This Gener8ion music video is directed by the acclaimed French filmmaker Romain Gavras, who is already one of my favorite directors anyway - director of Our Day Will Come, The World Is Yours, Athena, and Sacrifice most recently. The video follows students at a boarding school of some kind set in the near future – the "Storm class of 2034." Yung Lean is the guy at the center of it all, getting involved in and stirring up plenty of trouble of his own. It ends with a spectacular coordinated dance sequence with the entire class dancing together. A vivid, unforgettable video.
