Bruce Springsteen’s Philadelphia Concert Postponed by 76ers, Flyers’ Playoff Victories

The Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers both advanced to the second round of their respective playoffs Saturday, but those victories have come at a price: Bruce Springsteen’s Philly show has been postponed to May 30.

Springsteen and the E Street Band were set to play Xfinity Mobile Arena on May 8; however, the venue is now needed to host the Sixers’ Game 3 matchup against the New York Knicks. The Flyers’ Stanley Cup playoff schedule — and Springsteen’s own itinerary — further complicated rescheduling the concert, which will now take place 22 days later.

“Due to the NBA and NHL playoff schedule, the Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band concert at Xfinity Mobile Arena has been rescheduled for May 30,” Springsteen’s official site announced Sunday. “All tickets for the previous date will remain valid for the new date.
