Tony Seiniger, a prominent figure in movie marketing and poster design, has passed away at the age of 87. He was renowned for his influential work on advertising campaigns for iconic films, most notably "Jaws." Seiniger died on May 11 in Atlanta.

Born in New York City, Seiniger pursued his education at the Rhode Island School of Design. He began his career at EUE/Screen Gems in New York, where he worked in commercial production. His contributions to the film industry earned him the title “The Godfather of Movie Advertising,” highlighting his significant impact on how films are marketed to audiences.
