High-stakes action is peaking in CoinPoker’s VIP Arena games as the Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) continues. One player made waves this week by running up a $1 million stack at some of the highest stakes the site offers.
During the return of these celebrated cash games, CoinPoker also confirmed a promotion with PokerGO that offers a seat at High Stakes Poker in Las Vegas, a package worth more than $100,000.

One of the clearest signs of the revival came on Aug. 25 when a player using the handle ‘BTCdemon’ started with a heads-up battle at one of the $1,000-$2,000 VIP Arena tables against Barak ‘iWasOnly17’ Wisbrod.
Other players soon joined the table, like ‘Firefox,’ ‘Trance,’ ‘Hazeslip,’ and Chris ‘Lukabrate’ Nguyen, making it a showdown of some of the site’s most notable high-stakes players.

Former Cash Game World Champion Owen ‘PR0DIGY’ Messere joined the battle and came out on the winning side of an overbet bluff from BTCdemon, who only had jack-high.
The session’s headline hand produced a pot totaling about $1.1 million. Nguyen got his stack in before the flop with pocket kings, only for BTCdemon to improve to trip queens by the river with A-Q.
The stakes and volatility attract the crowd, with the smallest bet on the board measured in thousands and pots regularly climbing into the six and seven-figure ranges.
A Renewal of the Bleznick vs ‘PencilArms’ 2025 Showdown
BTCdemon and Co. weren’t the only ones making noise, as Jared Bleznick, who’s one of the most recognizable names in the high stakes Omaha world, traded blows with a player known as ‘PencilArms’ across $500-$1,000 and $200-$400 pot-limit Omaha.
This caught the eye of poker commentator Emil, who remarked about the pair’s return to the felt on Aug. 24, describing the showcase as “two legends at work.”
The two players have history, as Bleznick and PencilArms squared off in similarly high-stakes sessions on CoinPoker last year, with Bleznick coming out on top in two iconic tussles. Cash game activity in the platform’s high limits has been building steadily, and the return of established names is only helping that momentum.
CoinPoker is reminiscing about some of the largest cash game stacks the platform has ever seen. In August 2025, Bleznick had built a stack of about $1.8 million while playing at a single $1,000-$2,000 table on the site, a session that CoinPoker has cited among the biggest cash game action it has hosted.
Emil captured the mood in a follow-up post, remarking about the final numbers from those games and saying that “sick is probably the only word describing those stakes.”
Offering a $100,000 High Stakes Poker Seat
The renewed cash game interest comes as CoinPoker launches a promotion centered around one of the game’s most recognizable brands. The site is partnering with PokerGO to offer players the High Stakes Poker seat. This marquee cash game show plays a key role in the poker television calendar.

Players must register on CoinPoker using the POKERGO code and partake in the weekly qualifiers that run from Sept. 6 through Oct. 25 across CoinPoker’s cash games and tournaments. Players accumulate points on a leaderboard that relates to the giveaway.
Eight weekly winners will then earn a spot in a final table draw on Oct. 31. The grand prize includes the $100,000 buy-in to High Stakes Poker, another $10,000 for travel expenses, and a stay on the Las Vegas Strip.
The recent viral cash game drama whets the appetite for players who have always dreamed of playing high-stakes games but never had the means to do so. CoinPoker’s new collaboration with PokerGO could make that dream a reality for one lucky player.
